Originally from a small Danish village with a population of 134, Thash Mose grew up on a farm with cows, sheep and horses. Mose had a rural upbringing, spending most of her time writing short stories and running a website about her Pekingese dog Alfredo. Captivated by fairy tales and fables, and particularly enthralled by the Danish author H.C. Andersen’s work, Mose won a national fairy tale writing competition (with a story about her Pekingese dog Alfredo).

Intent on living a fairy tale of her own, Mose moved to Los Angeles where she would study improv at The Groundlings. Mose quickly got signed by a talent agent who loved her looks and thought she could play “the perfect drug addict” on TV. Mose’s short-lived acting career included roles such as: ”high school student”, “drug addict" and “high school student who is also a drug addict”. Mose returned to stand-up comedy following this and hasn’t looked back since.

Today Mose is a regular opener for Jay Leno and has performed in Nate Bargatze's Nateland showcase at the Nashville Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival and Netflix Is A Joke Fest. A joke writer at heart, known for pairing classic structure with offbeat premises, Mose moved to New York City after being passed at The Comic Strip and named a Comic To Watch by the New York Comedy Festival.

Currently, Mose is working on her first comedy special and saving up to buy her parent’s farm.
